Got the bigger 1.40 a/r turbine housing today. This thing is huge in comparison to the 1.12

Picked up 2 drums of methanol($3 a gallon)

Got 90 % of the wiring done.

Started removing the motor plate to fix my water pump leak. Should be an easy/straightforward fix

Dropped my driveshaft of to be shortened as well.

Got the driveshaft in, 99% of the wiring done, got some more trans fluid. Went with a 20 weight hydraulic fluid this go round over the 40, since I was seeing .2% slip.

Couldn't find any fine thread 7/16 grade 8 bolts local for the converter, so I will be ordering those.

Attempted to start it, after troubleshooting, found there was no engagement of the front part of the cable hex. Using an aei cnc adapter, with motion raceworks cable. Ordered the motion adapter. Hoping that's the fix.

Sprayed starting fluid down the tb and it started right up.

Wired the backside of the egt bulkheads, just need to in them to the box.

Drilled and installed rivnuts for the trans dipstick mounting. Also filled the trans.

Converter bolts showed up, got those installed and bolted up. Took about 3/8" of spacer to get the right converter spacing.

Got the coolant system filled, no leaks.

Got the engine travel limiters made/installed.

Ran the wiring for the crankcase pressure sensor, fuel pressure sensor, and converter dump valve. Just need to solder the ends.

Motion cable adapter will be here today. Hoping that solves my fueling issue!

List is getting smaller by the day!

Has to be a good feeling having it running again. Can't wait to see you get it dialed in. Incredible work!

Thanks man! It's been a long time coming for sure!

Spent the day plumbing the fire systems. Just need to make mounting tabs for 2 more nozzles and get the pull cables mounted. Which I ordered the m&m shifter mount bracket for.

My small list to finish- mount the dash, repaint the border on the windows, paint the wheelie bars, mount the coolant overflow, and finish the brake lines.

Still waiting on the front coilovers before I get an alignment on it

Made 2 tune revisions back and forth with the tuner. Now starts fairly decent.

Unfortunately I have a fuel pump shaft seal leak. Had quite the puddle of fuel under it.

Edit: pulled the pump off the car, pulled it apart, measured the shaft, and ordered the seal, and a new cover o-ring. Hopefully that takes care of the issue

Dropped my wheelie bars off at the local powdercoating shop to be done in black chrome. Stoked to see how they turn out!

Finally got a confirmation that my coilovers are built and will be shipped out Monday.
