State sales tax is 6.5% and with local gov taxes added we are at 9.6% in our area. There are some counties in AR that have 11.5% sales tax thou. Personal property tax was $750 this year for land, 3 vehicles, boat & trailer. Taxes on the house are $1400yr and locked at that amount. Tags are $52yr per vehicle ($25 surcharge for personalized plate). We do have state income tax as well. We live on the border of AR & MO and the closest store is in MO, so we do most of our shopping there and the sales tax is only 6%.

Road course-Homestead, Palm Beach, Sebring, Daytona
A few of the drag strips are Palm Beach, Bradenton, OSW, and Gainesville but there are more including eighth mile. OSW and Palm Beach are close to me.
