Well it hasn't been tuned yet. Smells like about a mile to the gallon..... lol

I can't be certain of the gasket leak. They were all good when I installed it. Not impossible to pinch one I guess but unlikely. An air leak is possible for sure. Gotta keep looking. I need to burn this old ass gas out tomorrow.

As far as open holes on the blower/manifold I've been over and over that. But if it's bad enough to drop the intake vacuum from 16 to 8 it should really run like shit.

Agreed.

Plus, idle is still bouncy like it used to be. Seems to want to die like it used to upon backing up and then switching to forward gear.

Unrelated I'm sure but I'm starting to wonder if my blower has a leak.

If it were mine I would get a tune done before trying to further diagnose, you may not have a problem. Your problem could be all in the tune.
