However I would have to keep my boost pretty low until I can afford to put some ARP head/main bolts on. As well as good set of gaskets.
As a matter of fact, the thought at someone going through the headache I had to go through with that experience led me to creating this forum thread:

It really is. We have VERY nice cars and when it comes down to it, some things you can't just skip out on. It's very tough to not jump right in and pedal to the floor things, that's just the nature of the beast. However, I can promise you that if you save up a little longer and purchase his kit (Jon @ Huron Speed's kit), through quality of product and customer service, your experience will be next to none.

I'm going through the install now and documenting things as I can and plan on having a pretty easy to follow guide that will pretty much install itself for you. If you purchase his kit, you can PM at any time and I will assist you with anything you can think of and tell you how I did it.

As this happened just a few hrs ago, I figured I'd post it even though I don't have an SS. On I-95 late this afternoon doing around 60-70, see a B5 Blue Challenger coming up fast behind me in the right lane....I see he has a '15 or '16 SRT 392 --- he comes up paces me a bit then gets on it, I couldn't resist - so did I. I eventually had to slow down as traffic was up ahead and when he finally caught up to me again -he sticks his arm out his window and gives me a thumbs up and I do the same. I do like that B5 Blue on the Challengers, though.

i raced a stock 15 392 in my 2010 L99 LTs, O/R X, CAI and tune. We raced several times from a 40 roll to about 125ish. we were dead even. if I had been stock he would have blown me away.

Played around today with a new rt charger, a g8, and a 12 -14 392 bee. Blew the 1st 2 away, 392 was door to door. Bone stock. So drivers race

Im just not seeing it....ive raced a 2015 scat pack twice from a dig. I was very shocked how hard they pull up top. From a roll i would think they would be hard to beat if your stock.

Stock SS will not beat a SRT or Scat pack. 2014 and earlier you will be closer but the 2015 + with the 8 speed are fast.

Only time I've encountered a 392 he tried racing me then hit my left rear quarter panel..

He said bone stock....but I don't know if he is or the 392 is. If they are both stock they are not door to door.
