Those of you who DIDN'T order your camaro's..

did you get exactly what you wanted when getting your camaro? obviously if you ordered it, you can simply check of what you want [x] and gm builds it for you. but if you went to a dealer and went lot looking, did you get what you wanted? is there anything you would do different looking back?

The dealer did not have what I wanted on the lot, so they ordered it and it arrived about 10 days later....

The dealer didnt have on his lot what I wanted so went out to another dealer in the larger LA market and found it for me.

thats what i did also, we just could not wait on an order, so they searched in the data base and brought one in from like 200 miles away.

I searched all the dealers within 100 miles of me to find exactly the options I wanted. Then I went to my dealer local dealer and made a deal with them, they had it shipped via a flat bed the next day.

Mine was a dealer trade. I went to the dealer to order a vert and looked at an auto 2ss they had on the lot. Told the sales guy if he could find one just like it with a manual, I wanted it. He had the car there the next day. Happy as I can be.

my dealer was pretty big and had 12 camaros. but only 4 were sticks....of them only 2 were SS. and I liked the green one better....

got mine from auction. That day was 3 other camaros. After all was said and done believe we got the best deal but I think I would have insisted on one with RS package. Not hard thing to fix with the market section on this forum though

my first rodeo? no - i was impatient when they first came out and bought a red 1LT/RS right on the spot (red was the color I wanted then).

Then last week, I upgraded to the exact combo I want - a 2011 2SS/RS IOM...has it all except GFX but I didnt want to pay $2500 for them. Other than that, the one on the dealer lot was exactly what i wanted (and they even had a $4k markdown!)

Got exactly what I wanted off a dealer lot. Apparently it was the only M6 they had ever had in stock, LLT or SS. I guess autos were a better seller in that area. Coincidentally it was a SIM 1LT/RS, which was the exact model I had my eye on. Really though, I wanted a 2LT for the gauge pack, ABL, and silver inserts, but you couldn't have that without leather, which I didn't want. Found out through the dealer that I could buy those certified parts separately. Dealer knocked a thousand plus off MSRP and I was sold. Drove off the lot later that day. My first new car and first American car I've been a Toyota guy prior. In fact I was the last car guy in my family to buy American

If I had to do it different, I would have waited and maybe test drove an LS3 beforehand. Might have changed my mind, but I'm happy to have a Camaro nonetheless.

They didn't have what I wanted at the dealer so a quick search yielded my car. I had it the next day.

actually found the exact optioned vehicle I wanted, was going to order then dealer called, when I saw her i bought her on the spot even though I would've gotten a black or silver Im glad the victory red arrived. best of all my vin is 195. (yes I've had her for over 2 years)
