Oh, wow, Quaker City is really close (probably quicker than getting to PRP from Seven Fields).

BSD was kind of hit or miss at times. They repaved the track in the early 2000's but it still went up hill and one would often roll back in the staging lanes. I finally got to the point where I only ran from the right lane as it seemed most consistent. Not sure how things are now since I've not raced there for a good 5 years or more. Great environment, though, like you mention.

I always wanted to make it out to Numidia, but never had a chance. Heard a lot of great things about it, though.

Anyone ever make it to Maple Grove or Cecil?

Yes, Quaker City is just a hop up on the Turnpike.

Yes, of course I've been to Maple Grove an Cecil County, both are division 1 races.

Maple Grove is a great track. I wish they'd move the date for the division race away from the very beginning of spring, I'm tired of freezing my ass off and wearing the firesuit around just to keep warm. I love the shutdown area, even at 175mph I can coast out the entire lenght without much brake pressure. And going through the trees at the top end is very nice.

Cecil I find to be an overall nice track. Its just the drive thats a bit of a pain in the butt. Only been there once though.

Delmar is another track, its in Delaware. Long drive there too. Its nice, but not worth the drive IMO.

I've never heard a bad thing about Maple Grove, so I'd be willing to do a trek out that way.

Would anyone be interested in doing a track rental for PRP since it seems so busy? Maybe I could convince PACE to do some sort of thing for it.

~4.5 hour drive out that way to Maple Grove. Actually...probably longer than that but I can't recall at the second. Norwalk is closer.

I'd be in for a track day at PRP. 3 hour drive ain't too bad if we rent the track. I can probably get a couple guys from up this way also.

I can also get some buddies... '11 Mustang GT and another with his '11 SRT8 Challenger. If it's open to non-camaros.

I can talk with Morgan (NEOCC President) to see if we can try and get a group of NEOCC cars also to make the trip down.

If you might have better luck with Quaker, then that'd be fine with me -- assuming the same with the other Pittsburgher's, correct?

I don't care if there are non-Camaros (I just won't involve PACE then). The more the merrier -- and it keeps everyone in check to see what the competition is capable of!

The outsiders aren't a deal breaker in the least. I'd have to do some serious arm twisting anyways to get them on board... they might get it dirty or put some miles on it!

I think we could pull a better turn out if we had PACE/NEOCC involved. Even if it's just to spread the word to the members and show their support?

I think PRP is fine. Maybe next year an Ohio spot. Could be a yearly doing in the making?

Maybe we should start a thread to gage the interest? Maybe a poll with potential dates? I'm willing to get it started.

Let me know when you guys get something going.

I have access to my Camaro (obviously), my dads supercharged Mustang GT or my moms Sky RedLine.

I could bring one of those if the timing works out.

I'm good with talking smack but it's useless for me to talk shit to you. I know the s/c Mustang will lay waste to about any N/A Camaro but a blown one... it's not that quick.

It's putting about 460 to the tires. That's nuts for a stock 3V 4.6L short block. Plus it needs some better rubber to use the power.

I hope a track rental works out. It would be fun. If I can get my launch down with the new converter and the smaller pulley works out I might get into the 10s this year.
