I loved that car, and see it around occasionally. I am still buttering up to the SS though.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
Thanks! I'll take a captin and coke, it's the simple stuff for me. As for the food fight, I have some thick skin, so no worries here

Basic mods are usually bolt on. So you may have a cold air induction, headers, exhaust, etc. I would ask the dealer which shop did the tune, they should have a record of HP/Torque, and possibly what mods were done. Enjoy your SS!!

As a sidenote, a decent percentage of Camaro owners get rock chips on the doors and rear "gill" areas. My car actually got about ten in a very short amount of time. I couldn't tell from your pic, but you can install rock/splashguards behind the front tires which will prevent it, these range from $39 to $150 depending on what style you might prefer, paint protection film is another option, but is more expensive. Just thought I'd give you a heads up!
Thanks for the heads up, I'm definitely going to look into it because the nose on the Trans Am got absolutely mutilated by rock chips. Boiled my blood for a long time.

Welcome to the forum! ... It can get expensive around here because these guys know all the best ways to burn money on your Camaro. Your car looks great. I really like those rims.

There are some obvious things to look for like long tube headers, the lope of the cam, if it has a CAI, a catch can, a separate clutch reservoir, what the idle is, anything that looks aftermarket on the engine or the suspension......... Welcome

It's the same as motorcycle forums I'm on. You wouldn't think it, but one could spend $100,000 on a motorcycle and still have things to buy lol. It's like any hobby.

The car has Kooks long tubes and cat back exhaust (not sure which mufflers or anything) along with a CAI and a "supposed tune" from redline racing on the west coast of Florida. I called redline and they didn't knkw the car offhand, so I'm assuming it doesn't have a tune and I'll be taking it to my local guys to get it squared up.

As for now I don't think I'll be doing a cam or anything, personally the car is fast enough for me, I have the bike to go fast at the track. This thing is my baby, and I just cruise around in it

Welcome to the group. I also wrecked once at mid-ohio on the bike in my avatar, low slide, no major damage.

Bought the camaro and started tracking it and never been back on the track with a bike and I even built a bike for the track as well.

You will love putting the camaro on the track.
