New to me 2010 SS, recommendations on exhuast?

I owned a 2011 LS which got totaled last month and I just bought a 2010 SS with 20k miles on it. I had MRT ver 1 on my old car but looking to get something new for this and am wondering what the more popular ones are for the v8? Leaning towards axel back as it's cheaper and I want to stay under $1k preferably even under $800 for the setup.

I would say save up and buy a full exhaust system from kooks or ARH, headers, mid pipe, etc

A lot of guys will recommend only what their car has, like my car has a corsa cat back, and its great but not 1200$ great. Therefore I wouldn't recommend it. If i had the chance to do it all over I would have bought longtubes with hi flow cats hooked up to stock ls3 catback for the same money.

You are going to want longtubes as some point, so start with that. If you don't like how it sounds modify everything behind that.

Speed Engineering sells good long tube headers for a good price.

Lol

Headers and stock exhaust is cool also. Loud (very loud) when you get on it and quiet when you are cruising.
