Ok, it's about time to start planning for Ruidoso in March!! The date is Saturday March 24th. We have 2 options... Meet locally and drive straight to Ruidoso, or meet up and cruise down to Socorro to join the Albuquerque gang.

If anyone wants to cruise Friday night instead of Saturday morning let me know and we will figure something out.

I'm open for the Inn of the Mountain Gods if we want to get a group rate down there or maybe look into renting out one of the huge cabin areas... Depending on the number of people going it will probably be about the same price per person as compared to a hotel or the casino.

What are you're thoughts?? The CCNM group will be discussing it tonight as part of their meeting in Albuquerque

I was asked for more info. Not much other than meeting place etc
We meet at Mckelligon Canyon at Noon on Saturday the 21st. Usually stay about 1/2 hour and roll out to the next stop. I believe the street is 1331 McKelligon canyon Rd. I will have maps for everyone as well of all the stops.

not that it matters much since, the cruise itself will be worth it. But I just like to know where we're going to be going

Put march 24/25 in the calendar for cruise to and from ruidoso. The specifics are being worked on, but the date is for sure!

Ok here is the updated plan for Ruidoso .. Folks from ABQ are supposed to drive to Las Cruces either Friday night or saturday morning. We will all meet around 11ish for lunch in Cruces. Leave Cruces around 12ish after lunch and cruise to White Sands for a photo op. After White Sands we will cruise to the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso. The group rate is 129+tax for a forest view room and 149 for a lake view room with a private balcony. Can either be a king bed or 2 queens. The rooms usually run 169 for a Saturday night.

Where do we want to eat in Cruces? When we get to Ruidoso and check in what do we want to do? I know a few good places in the middle of the "downtown" area to eat and or drink (Charlie there is an awesome Irish pub called OMalley's!)
