Sorry, the ight didn't email me when you posted your question.

Production numbers are accurate to the info I originally provided. Nothing has been changed up to this moment.

CAI tunes are being started as soon as we get all the manufacturers products in house to test and tune.

More on that as I get better data.

Scott

Unfortunately the product was not built to function with the change in A/F ratio's due to the relocation of O2 sensors when running long tube headers.

The main reason for that was because we needed to become emissions compliant with all of our products due to the move CARB and the EPA has made over the years with regard to aftermarket uning.

Unfortunately I do not see that changing in the near future so Superchips and long tubes are not compatible.

Sorry,

Scott

So if i install a cai from CAI Inc., does your programmer support this?

Out of the box the vehicle might run lean with the two combined. Since we have not had a chance to test any CAI kits with our product it's hard to tell at this point.

From out findings with the Pontiac G8 most CAI kit's worked but there was one or two that caused pinging until we had files built specifically for them.

We have several CAI manufacturers onboard to help us test and tune their products with our programmers on the Camaro SS and we hope to have custom CAI files online for you sometime within the first quarter of this year.

When will the V6 be ready...I may have missed the posting.

The companies that have currently responded are:
K&N
S&B
AirRaid
AFE
Volant

We have not heard back from any other CAI manufacturers contacted through the channel.

The V6 tuning is still underway and should be in Beta soon. Once beta results are satisfactory we will release the programming for general use.

I will definately update everyone once we get closer to the release data.

Thanks for your patience!

Sorry bud but Superchips doesn't work. There are reasons why this thread died over 3 1/2 years ago and why he's never been back to this forum.
