On your iats do you have a front mount tranny cooler or is it installed in the rear of the car?

Is your meth nozzle for sure spraying so that it's cooling the IAT sensor?

I am in the 15PSI range with double meth injectors and the same intercooler. I make less than half of those IAT's at the end of the run. I am in the 90 degree range.

Hmm idk bro.. unless its bc the turbos are different or my heads n motor are moving more air at the same psi? I see u had a larger cube motor also.

Yes, we can watch it fall drastically upon spraying it just climbs up again.

Front but its situated behind everything and at an angle not really blocking anything.

What KPA are you seeing max when making those IAT's? here at elevation 180KPA is about 14-15PSI. I am sure you are seeing much more.

With dual nozzle meth I am seeing 122 degrees at the end of a run with about 21psi and the large intercooler.

One last thing. The external type IAT sensors do have a different calibration than the iat built into the MAF. You use the slope out of a ZL1 IAT2 tune and paste it all into your SS IAT table.
You probably want to get the big intercooler ether way since your car is pretty drag racey.

Finally.Had time to run the car. Manage to get 2 passes. At the 3rd pass,it blew the tires off at the line which was not normal.Come to find out, something in the rear suspension moved or bent because on the way home, steering wheel is not centered. Heard a small noise on the first and second run. Will have to check that this week.Might just have a cam bolt that moved or something.
First pass
1.71 60 ft
10.70 ET
130.99mph
Second pass
1.64 60 ft
10.62 ET
130.11 mph.

9psi of boost,56/61 turbos 6L90 tranny, Circle D 3000rpm converter. 3.23 ZL1 Diff
Mild 223/239 cam.17" wheels.
First run,the converter was locked in 3rd and 4th gear.Second run the converter was lock in 4th only.Car left on the converter,it was just starting to make boost on the second run which resulted in a better 60 ft.
I was told that the DA was at +2000

I want to post something useful in this thread but I can't get my eboost2 to work correctly... I know it is operator error.

Nice times!! Not sure what sort of suspension/tire set-up you use at the track or what HP level you are at, but get those 60's down to high 1.4's - low 1.5's and you time will drastically drop. I am guessing with that trap speed you have plenty of HP.

Honestly this makes more sense than anything. I will look at the calibration next Saturday when we flash the tcm. I think i bought the f-body style and put it in the charge pipe where the meth sprays on it but not sure how he calibrated it upon tuning. I originally had a horrible tune from dsx "dedicated motorsports" or dave steck. And we changed his instead of flashing and starting over and are paying for it. It may have the right cal but from what people are saying with similar setups this makes sense.

Takes alot of play to figure out what duty cycle does what psi on your setup. The peah "peak and hold" where it shows the highest boost achieved on that duty cycle is your friend. Make sure overboost is set before starting and go slow. All the other settings are kinda fine tuning and trying to get too good may cause oscillation and over correction in the controller. Put al that crap out your mind zero it al out set your overboost at what u want and slowly bring up duty cycle in 5-10 increments. Atleast thats what we did. The rest will come.

Stock ZL1 rear suspension with SS shocks. 17" Weld with 295/45/17 DR.
Track wasn't that great, plus the alignment of the passenger rear wheel moved quite a bit. We are getting there little by little, hopefully it will get faster. Ordered a new LSX388 so power shouldn't be a problem. Suspension updates will probably be needed for sure. No clue how much HP it makes right now.Theirs a local dyno day near by next week, was thinking of going to get some current numbers. What surprised me was the IAT's. Starts at around 95F at the starting line, end up at only 120F at the end of the quarter mile. No meth injection. The big intercooler is working pretty good so far.

With 130 ish trap I would expect 650-700whp.
