Stripe Delete?

Hey Becky,

If someone were to get the 45th Anniv Edition package, could they do the car WITHOUT the rally stripes? Is that possible, while retaining everything else?

Thanks!

Yeah I'm not very pleased I was waiting for a 12 now I don't know if I'll get one at all because its went up every year. No respect for the custumer.

Just about every car has a price increase from year to year, especially when content of standard equipment is increased. It's not just the Camaro.
If they didn't respect the customer do you think they would have made changes in the Camaro every year in response to customer suggestions?
In fact every change they made in 2012 I guarantee someone or even several people on this forum started a thread(s) because they didn't like that part of the 2010 Camaro.

From what I've seen there is a stripe delete option for the 45th.

Yeah but they should of had a base increase and not increase every option and the destination charge too. Its to much imo!!!

Hey thanks! Yeah I like a clean look....but I also like the carbon flash metallic paint....

And at $25 over the RS package it's not a bad deal right?

Truthfully I hadn't even loked at the 45th Anniv Ed options until the poster earlier mentioned it was $25 over RS price....now it's an option to me.

But in reality, it's basically includes everythign in the RS pkg PLUS the stitching inside, emblems, stripe (will be deleted on mine tho), and the swath of plastic on the interior doors right?

Oh, and special wheels?

Thanks again!

I don't think the price increases are that big of deal. Every year GM has made small improvements to one of their currently best selling products The old company would have just rode the 2010 model until 2015 before making any changes. Although that $1500 bump on the SS may or may not get you the rear view camera or the proposed sport suspension, it does however get you the upgraded dash and steering wheel. These and other features factored in with inflation/engineering cost should come close to the price increases.

not all options went up in price, some went down because they had a content change when they made some things standard in trim packages tHat were not before.

Destination charges increase not because they want to make more money. Fuel costs have increased greatly. The trucking and railroad industries increase their cost to GM so what else can GM do? Have you noticed how much ups, fed ex and the USPS shipping costs have increased?

I agree w/ Kiteman, upgraded suspension, back up camera, different dash board materials. Should be a better car, and if that's the case then the price increase is worth it.
