How many spots did you have to drill? That always makes me a little nervous
14 new holes in the bottom of the bumper, and then I utilized 9 of the OEM bolts that bolt the ZL1 under belly pan to the bumper. So the JPSS splitter has 23 bolts in the bottom. I then had to drill 4 holes in my fender and side of my bumper for the the canards / fender flares. Those things are HUGE, hard to tell from the pictures. Drilling the holes in the bottom of the bumper isn't a huge deal since it's on the bottom and no one would see it. However the ones in the side of the fender and bumper made me a little hesitant. Once I drilled the first hole I was committed

Car is running great. Still need to address some cooling issues. I was at MSR Houston last week, temperature was in the low 80's and the coolant and oil temps were getting higher than I'd like.

Have you upgraded the radiator/heat exchanger yet? I did not see anything on your thread on that -- I saw the D3 reservoir upgrade though!

Ron Davis heat exchanger and D3 reservoir. Next is a larger radiator, I'm still having heat issues on the track.

Just caught it in your tag you had the hx -- I'm adding it to mine -- but I had the bigger radiator and 160 already -- saw a few threads where you might do a separate oil cooler -- that may help quite a bit. Did you also do the 160* stat?

Love what you're doing!

Caught me! Thanks. The ZL1 while a great car for what it is, just isn't at home on the road course. Too heavy and gets hot with the blower. The dealer local to me was running a discount on C7s and gave me a great offer on the ZL1 so I went ahead and pulled the trigger.
