I couldn't recommend that plan enough. The $800-$1500 is well worth it, just get quality ones, I'd highly recommend ID1050s. Once you do that, you might as well go with a 18% pulley, I wouldn't go further unless you're doing cooling mods and a BAP.

Intake
Injectors
Headers
18% pulley (9.1 lower or 2.5 upper)
Plugs
Tune
Supporting parts.

When you push the snot out of the fuel system, you no longer get proper atomization of the fuel. Not only increasing wear and being dangerously on the limit of your fuel system, but you will actually not be making full power. Recently a member was pushing the stock fuel pump to the end of what it could do with just injectors, he installed a Boost-a-Pump and re-tuned and picked up noticeable horsepower.

Please don't get the 2 subjects mixed up.

You only need the additive if you don't run a custom tune.

You only need the injectors if you want to go past 10% pulley.

Injectors will require a custom tune.

Octane and fuel supply are 2 different topics.

Ted.

Thanks for clarifying that Ted. I will be calling you to discuss a remote tune.

A bit more volume and the lovely pops on decel.
