maybe next time something like the B-29 goes down, the contact list can be used to call or text everyone.

that would be a lot faster than posting it on the forum and hoping everyone sees it in time.

Vinton Cruise... are the folks going to Deery's in Des Moines leaving early and coming to Vinton? that we can still all meet at the high school at 3:00.

if not, then those of us going there early will just be parked together.

My dad is out for the Vinton Car Show this year. I haven't been to Vinton since last year so I may need to get some mapquest directions. Either way, I still would like to get there early so I can get curb side parking and get the car cleaned. Last year, I couldn't imagine how some car owners felt about having their cars lined up in the middle of the street with all the people walking next to them.

Mapquest is the shiznit! Typed in my information I needed and found out that I can send the directions to my mobile phone by entering my phone number and it sent it to me in a text.

Alright so what is the skinny on Vinton, is it 3 or is it 5 is it the high school or is it just go to the show, read a lot of conflicting information.

Anyone care to enlighten this dumb electrician.

Meet at the high school at 3 pm in Vinton. If you show up later your going to get a crappy parking spot. At least thats how it seemed last year.

The photo shoot was great. What a unique opportunity, particularily special to those of us who grew up building WW model birds.

Was great to have a few Camaros for the pics-thanks to those that were able to make it.

Was great to talk to Steve Schapiro, the B-29's team writer 7 photographer.

He showed us/gave us the scoop on the Chevy logo- pics attached to my second post. He also took many pics, he was just as excited to have us there too. He said he would be mentioning it in his tour blog (which he did)-the link is below.
