Yup. And the car Borla was using for the Atak examples was an LS3. I'm thinking that based on how I explained to Tim that I wanted it, he is thinking the atak may be too loud.
Yeah the Atak by itself is freakishly loud. Add LTH and it sounds like you have a freaking monster lol.

PQ -
The car in the Borla video did not have headers. Headers add a lot of sound.

Damn. lmao

True, I didn't notice that.

I think Tim has taken this into consideration. I told him I want my car to turn heads when I start it and get on it, but not piss people off. lol

Are you going to do the S/C at the same time as the headers and exhaust, are you changing the cam also?

No and no.

I'm ordering the headers and exhaust, CAI, tuner and installing it myself.

I will drive to T and T to do the Maggie. And it will be later. Maybe 3 months, maybe 6, maybe a year or more. Just depends on this freaking oil in the water down here and how it continues to effect us.

PQ-
It depends on what your definition of "turn heads" is. When I start my car and get on it, it turns heads. It sound kick ass. When I'm cruising, it's quiet enough to listen to music. You might want to find a car with LT headers and S-type before deciding.

For myself, I'm VERY glad I didn't get a more aggressive exhaust than the touring exhaust with my headers. It really sounds great to me.

That is good that you can do that kind of stuff yourself, definitely saves some money.

The oil has got everything messed up, hopefully soon it will get better for ya'll down there.

PQ-

Just run some dryer flex hose from the manifolds out behind the front tires. That sound would scare that crap out of your whole neighborhood !!!!

Yup. It def. sucks. But at least with it capped, the solution and clean-up can be defined.

That would be totally awesome. No emissions here in Alabama either.

PQ I have video of my car on the dyno.

In the second one, they don't get on it until the last 25 seconds and I was standing near the fan so it's hard to hear the car when it's idling.

The videos don't do it justice. It really rumbles when it idles and when you get on it. What I wanted was for the cabin to be quiet enough to hear music when cruising.

I can take a video tomorrow in my driveway of the car at idle and revving it. I will be getting my car back from it's wheel extravaganza tomorrow.

You might be thrilled with the S-type, but I know it would be too loud for me. I really like what the combo of headers and touring exhaust sound like. Other guys want louder, but mine does make people look. I love it.

DAMN...... I like. Ya, if you could take some in the driveway. It was kinda hard to tell in the noisy shop there. But it sounded freaking awesome. I might want mine a tad louder.

I don't think my S-type is too loud at all. I have very little drone in the car and have no problem hearing my music. I love the sound of the S-type. Loud enough without being overbearing.
