I finally get "Rubye" the way I want her.. I am definately not getting a convertible. They look ok, but not a big fan. Also after a couple of years the top will look like crap. It will look like the 4th Gen convertible tops (puffed up) from the wind..

No way. I don't care for the looks of the vert.

I have found that it gets too hot and I end up leaving the top up and running the A/C, days right for putting the top down are few and far between. Getting a vert always seems like a better idea than it is in practice. Plus, nearly every vert looks really good with the top down but really bad top up and the Camaro will probably be the same.

I'm getting the convertible and keeping the coupe! I will probably give the coupe to my son in 5 yrs when he turns 16.

Convertibles are more for an artistic statement. GM's finalized convertible top design indeed (to me) looks outstanding, top up or down.

I have owned 3 different convertibles. They are just unique in general. you're getting a highly customized car. you wont often see someone in your same car either.

My opinion on the convertible:

Sure, it's cool to say you have a convertible and they look awesome with the top DOWN, but I hate the look of the soft top when it's covered. Not to mention you lose so much torque, and that's a no-no :p

The Hubby Is

I'm sticking with my Synergy Coupe, but the hub bought his RBM RS with the sole intention of using it to trade on the vert when it's out.

Nope, was never into convertibles. Loved my T-Tops in my '82 Camaro. Like the sunroof in my current ride - do wish they made the T-Tops though ;( Not waiting for the Z-28 either...

Just the C7 Vette

Still waiting for the convertible, but the T-top conversion could make me go that way depending on how it turns out!!

My dad is just to one-up me. I really had to decide on it though. I figured being in TN I wouldn't have it down all that often. I'm anti-humidity. When I get to San Diego I might regret it. But eh. I'll just sell mine and get a new one if that happens.

I'll be buying one. Still deciding which list to get on... leaning towards Scotty though. My local dealer still hasn't returned my call/emails.
