Never been to Road Atlanta, I presume. What do you mean by "they called me out"? Really showing my inexperience here...

Tires are chewed up a bit, but not as bad as I expected...I'm guessing I could get another couple of weekends out of them. I was definitely pushing their limits on some of the turns (especially 10a and 10b).

Do you jump the curb on turn 3?

Yep, they had the sound meter out on Saturday, and then on Sunday morning at the driver's meeting (before we went out on the track) they told us which cars needed to keep the noise level down, or risk a black flag (and possibly sitting out the rest of the morning). I decided the seat time (2 sessions that morning) was more important that good lap times, so I took it easy (short shifting, trying to keep RPMs below 3000 so the NPP wouldn't open up).

Sunday AM was a light crowd for groups 3-5...I suspect most just skipped it rather than try to quiet down their cars. Now it makes more sense why they only gave Groups 3-5 one Sunday AM session and gave us 2 back-to-back Sunday morning sessions in Groups 1-2.

OK. Didn't know about the sound restriction in Hall on Sunday am. That's good to know. Are there sound restrictions at the drag strip in Commerce - can you run cutouts there? I want to take my car there and get some 1/4 mile times some time this summer or Fall.

Jus curious..where does everyone else's car idle at? Mine is around 500 and seems a little low..
