This was a reply from a Camaro5 member I got when asking about my ABM quite some time ago.

"I work for Chevrolet and I'm working on a census of all ABMs and I have exact build documentation on all but 33 vehicles right now. For some reason, I'm having a problem finding stats in the system on the ones that went to Mexico.I do have all that went to the Middle East and Canada though.

Anyway, I don't want to start a feeding frenzy and that's why I'm sending you a PM, but if you want to PM me the last 8 digits of your VIN, I will tell you exactly how many twins your vehicle has right down to the last RPO. I did the same for Motorhead on his LS before he sold it. One condition, keep it to yourself because I'm not ready to take requests from everyone just yet.'

I ran the stats this morning. With the caveat that I'm still missing 33 VINs from my list, you have a unique build. Here's the worldwide stats:

Out of a total ABM build of 3903, I have data on 3870 unique VINs:
2SS with ABM and Beige Leather: 89
Without RS Package: 17
Without Sunroof: 5
With Automatic Transmission: 3
With 20" Painted Aluminum Wheels: 1, yours....

You are not the last 2SS ABM with Beige Leather built. There were 8 built after yours"

ABM's are pretty exclusive color cars...glad to be a fellow owner of one

When I ran mine through spasticsquirle it came up as one of a kind. Only 2010 ABM produced with my exact options. 2LT, RS, ABM, no sunroof, black interior,silver rally stripes. There were many similar, one had a stick, mine is an automatic, but none came up with exactly my options.

I've often said that after my beloved Synergy, ABM was my favorite. This weekend, I got to see a Hotwheels and an ABM parked together. I do love the Hotwheels edition, and I was having a hard time deciding which blue looked best to me...then the sun came out from behind a cloud. I'm not sure if I heard a chorus of angels singing, but I knew right then that the ABM was still my favorite of the two colors.

I have a ABM built in 7/2009 my vin is 24068. Rs Package, M6, Beige interior Leather, no sunroof. Does that mean mine is 1 of the 5 ? WOW!!! What about the cars that ordered the Ground Effects Package and was put on by the dealer?
If someone could find out what the ABM amount was at that time of build. Also how can we get somekind of document of this rare color package?
Please advise.

It would be nice if Chevy would have one special color each year for the Camaro, that was available on any trim level, not just the Hot Wheels edition for example.

One member here has a 1st generation with a grape purple that really looks good, the possibilities are endless.

Hate to say it but seems Mustangs offer more color choices...
