I agree, I want one really bad as my DD - I'm kind of curious how the air shocks would handle -40 in the winters here though? I also think there might be added success in that alot of companies are bringing their traditional SUV's to a crossover platform like the Ford Expolorer.

I really like it too. Love the select terrain system and the air suspension.
[quote] The good news there is it is optional with the adventurer 2 package and only standard on the overland, so you can get one without the air suspension. |

Do any of the previous model jeeps have the pneumatic shocks? Just wondering if I can do some reliability research.

just remember that Cherokee's have a HORRIBLE reliability history. This is a whole new powertrain if i remember right. So i would NEVER buy this in the first year given the history of reliability. and that stands for MANY chryslers.

I just saw a commercial for this. It is a very sharp looking Grand Cherokee. Very nice.

Wrangler,Grand Cherokee are safe Liberty (re-design in future),Compass and Patriot not so much????? Than remember they also have Dodge and their trucks/SUV's..I know the Dodge Nitro (carbon copy of the Liberty) is gone. Gone are the huge Chrysler cars that don't sell...the 300c is safe but will get a face-lift. Jeepers have been holding their breath for the Gladiator...better exhale not gonna happen. They are looking at putting a new "pentastar" (something like that) engine in the next re-designed Wrangler maybe in 2013.Suppose to be very good on gas consumption. Check out www.allpar.com has the most updated info on Jeep
