Man you guys are pampered, I was rolling up my windows and shifting my gears manually in my 1st gen Colorado until a few years ago when I replaced it with my 2nd gen.

Imagine the horror before I bought enough garage door openers for my POV and state vehicles and had to swap between them constantly.

Praise the automotive gods. I saw someone hit status 4150 this afternoon and thought they were considering shipping them without the EPA certs being completed, but I guess that was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of shipments beginning.

Glad I can sleep better tonight knowing that my Supplier Pricing code won't expire before it can be used haha.

You probably already saw the article backing up what you're saying, but they did say it was the EPA stuff: https://gmauthority.com/blog/2023/02...o-dealerships/

Compared the new 2.7 w/the 3.6, both 4WD. As expected, only a marginal improvement if MPG is the only consideration.

2.7: 21 combined 19/23
3.6: 19 combined, 17/24

Diesel: 22, 19/28

Shipping! Waahoo.

Looking forward to seeing/hearing owner impressions.

MPG is about what I expected, although I think many people will be able to beat those estimates.

I can usually beat the EPA estimate in my 2020 3.6L. I'm sure if you stay out of the boost of the 2.7T you'll see decent results.

Looks like the 2.7 requires premium and the 3.6 is fine on 87 octane. That is one of the few complaints I would have on the new Gen Colorado and Canyons.

Premium is $1 more per gallon here, so long term you are spending more on fuel. That said, I drive around averaging 10.3 mpg in a stock 6.0 2500HD Sierra and a stage 1 cammed/header 6.2 Cad Escalade EXT with similar mpg makes the 2.7 turbo mpg and power look impressive to me. Luckily I don’t rack up the miles like I used to.

In TFL's video of the 2.7T break down the engineer stated it was designed for 87.
