Comfort, as with many qualities discussed here, is subjective. Just because he made that statement, it does not make him biased. Why the tone?

I'm pleased with the value of the ZL1 in addition to the performance. Plus, which car would your rather own long term considering maintenance and collectability? I'll take the ZL1. And the most important question, which of the two cars would you select to take out on a first date? Show off the tire smoking, bad ass Camaro or the whine \ surge of a hair dryer? I guess that would depend on the woman!!

But......IMO the ZL1 performance numbers probably are not much better than the '12 GT500. FYI if you think the '11 SS GT500 numbers reflect what '13 GT500 is going to run then you're going to have shocker on your hands when the reviews come out. Oh well. IMO the ZL1 will be out run by the 13"GT500 but I still love the ZL1 It takes more than numbers to keep me as a buyer. Last edited by Paco; 02-03-2012 at 01:44 PM. |

Eh, I take first dates out in a crappy beater (90's gmc) that I keep as a backup truck. It usually shocks them on a 3rd or 4th date when I roll up in the cobra or my Infiniti in some decent threads.
I have had too many money hungry girls in my life. If a girl makes the 3rd or 4th date, I'm usually not getting that vibe. Word to the wise, wanna find a good girl? Don't be flashy until you've gotten to know what she's about. Easy way to cut out months of hassle in my opinion.

I hate doing this but I'm going to take a few seconds out of my busy work schedule to post how well the 2013 GTR performs. It is officially a 10 second car now... http://www.motortrend.com/features/a...10_second_car/ I mean I own a very powerful superbike (tons of torque) in a Ducati 1098 and I think 0-60 is around 2.5 seconds or so (if you can keep the front wheel down) and we are talking about a car that weights almost as much as the ZL1 and just puts insane amounts of power down to the ground...0-60mph in 2.7 sec is no joke brotha That said, for the $$ I will love my ZL1 to death...but one day I hope to own a GTR just for $hits and Giggles |

I though the ZR1 was more comfortable than my 08 Z51. It was kind of harsh and figgety in certain situations. People on this forum talk to much and drive too little I think. they have all this amazing information about cars they have never been in. I have yet to drive or ride in a GTR. I know someone who has one they said the ride can be harsh at times. I am trying to convice a friend to buy one so I can find out first hand ha ha. I can almost guaranty the ZL-1 will be the most comfortable car to lap like this on the market right now. Until I get min a can't comfirm though. if it rides like a CTs-v and laps like it does it is a potent package. Now everybody chime in about how comfort does not matter bla bla bla. It is nice to have a car that handles well yet is comfortable. that is what I like about an M3 is it balance of the two. It just needs more power and cost less ha ha. ohh wait maybe that is why the ZL1 appealed to me.

I meant exactly what I posted. Do you not understand what "a" means? I don't understand your point.

Not only did it reach 60 mph in 2.7 seconds in Nissan's testing, but it made the sprint through the quarter mile in 10.8 seconds, a full 0.4 seconds faster than the 2012 model we tested in February, using 100 RON octane gas (96 octane using the U.S.' AKI ratings).
Motor Trend simply parroted what they were "told"........ |
