Speedster, you going to attend the "Texas Mile" with your car? I'm hoping you'll teach some of those twin turbo Lambo's a lesson!!!

Amazing is not a word I can use to describe this build. The sheer magnitude of the attention to detail, is far beyond even what the trained eye can see. I know NRE builds quality products, but I would even bet this has challenged them more than any car they have ever done.
We've all seen 200+K custom car builds, and they usually all contain the same components. Alot of which even have one off pieces. But this Camaro takes it to a whole new level. I truely believe that if this was a car that was built for the "Riddler Award" (those of you not aware what that is, look it up. its amazing), it would, without question take the prize.

This car truely deserves to be among only the select few of the greatest car builds in recent history. I, for one, being in the business many many years have never in my life, seen a build of this magnitude.

Hats off to you... The bar has now been raised to new levels.

If your ever in Vegas, I will drive anywhere in the city to see this in person...
QFT & glad to hear it from someone with a well trained eye also! Every page of pictures I was simply in disbelief. As I stated before, I've seen a lot of the impressive high dollar builds with a few custom pieces that were amazing, from all kinds of forums and auto sites over the years. But page after page, every photo, every angle, every piece... wow...

Here we are months later and I still cant find the words... All I can say is

That is serious stainless hardline. Wow !! That is some incredible workmanship. Guess you won't have ANY trouble running lines for your TT build.

...and you are coming home. That's gotta feel good. Back to working on "Pinky".

I don't know if we will make the Texas Mile. More than likely the Maxton Mile and the Top Gun run.

Yeah, Pirelli don't like being used as pavers...

Thanks Matt. We appreciate the praise. We're tryin' our best. The team at the shop is one heck of a talented bunch of people... We came up with some cool ideas, but they haven't all been the easiest to implement. The one nice thing is that it will be hitting the streets fairly soon and that is when the fun really begins.

close to 8K miles and I've only replaced one because of a giant nail in it.
My tires still look relatively new.

I had to replace mine after 16,000 miles. I guess going to the track a few times takes the rubber off...

Speedster,

After watching about 6 hours of videos(of other cars) from the shop that's building your car, all I can say is WOW! You will have one special Camaro when it's done. I'm on the edge of my seat each time I open this thread, thinking that today will be the day we get to see the final product.

I can't wait to see it!!! Post some more teaser pictures!
