We ordered ours January 11th. The dealer didn't even give us the order number until we had a TPW (just a couple of weeks ago). I don't know why, but assume they wanted to make sure it was actually going to get built.

I have my order # already just no TPW. I ordered mine on January 28th, so I should be getting my TPW shortly then! Hopefully.

still looking for confirmation on whether or not this comes with a Hot Wheels diecast car as well from the factory? An article eluded to the fact that this would "probably" be the case, but I have yet to see confirmation of it.

Considering that when we walked into the dealer to inquire about the car, they had no clue what we were talking about and even joked about running to Wal-Mart to get us a "Hot Wheels Camaro", that doesn't surprise me. We educated the dealership during our visit. Those guys are actually pretty stoked to have the car ordered through them.

Yeah my dealer is pretty stoked as well to be getting this car in. They are almost as excited as I am! LOL

I have a lot of friends of mine who can't wait to see this car. I get a feeling any of us who have this car will be getting a lot of people giving us the and stopping and wanting to see the car.

Oh well.....I'm ok with that!

yes, i don't know that the dealer would know this. there was an interviewer with Mattel and the Camaro folks stating they were working on getting a special edition Camaro just for purchasers

That interview is floating around on this site somewhere. What I thought was exciting about them working on it, was that they wanted to make it a numbers matching car. Now, that would be cool!

exactly. and now it seems as if it went from that to nothing at all which is a real shame. that being said, i have seen some dealers web page stating they include the car with purchase. just not sure if it's one the dealer grabbed at the local walmart or an exclusive just for purchasers of the car.

Ordered mine on my birthday, built on my brother's birthday, and delivered on my wife's birthday

Pictures just don't do justice to that paint job (just like my Synergy Green one). The car is awesome

BTW, the gill decals, red-lined floor mats, and engine cover come seperate from your car. Make sure you tell your dealer.
