Heck, we'll all shoot for 4000...

Should make for a good side by side burnout video.

Here's something to keep you entertained while you wait. It may not seem like much to ya, but the most exciting part of this video to me is 6:45 - 10:30 and 16:30 - 17:00. No wear after 1,000 pulls over 1,000 hp and then 100% streetable. Pretty impressive combination. Modern technology is cool.

Hows she coming bruce?? Any more news I caught up on my missing days Just like good ol' school! I was reading my new magazine and saw a engine similar to yours and said to my step brother "Boy that engine is awfully pretty and stuck in the back of my mind but I don't remember" two seconds after I looked at it then back at him we replied at the same time "SPEEDSTER!!" And I continued reading and read that a engine such as yours would cost a HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY 35 grand He told me "Looks like you better start saving now."

So if you have an oil analysis done after a couple of seasons of racing, you just wasted $20 bucks for an oil analysis LOL

I'm in with one stipulation... We do the burnout and shut them down... no rolling out, no moving around, etc... cause if it turns out like I think it might, nobody will be able to see anything for a few minutes... I can see it now, fire department rolls up, jumps off the trucks, grabs their hoses and air packs and waits... smoke clears, and there are five or six of the biggest grins every produced...

The article showed the engine pic to open the article, but it was a generic article about the whole LS engine program. There are snippets in there eluding to "other" combinations... ...and it's really not about the money, it is about pushing the technology envelope. That is why the SST build has taken so long. It should be roadable in the next 10 days or so.

Kind of gives you a new respect for how well things can be done in the US.
