what's the best oil cooler delete kit i can find it's starting to leak again from the gasket? is there any danger in doing so does the temperature change in any way

Most people that omit it won't know whether it actually changes the temps since the gauge temp is calculated not measured.

There have been a few people on here that have added separate oil temp gauges but I don't remember if any of those did it without adding an oil cooler back in. At least you are in a warmer climate and won't miss the oil warming part of the system.
