Any CA People Running Hot Cam in Their SS?

Hi guys,
Any CA people happen to be running the "Hot" cam (GM PN 88958753, .525" lift intake/ ex.) in their LS3 or L99?

Curious in particular about how the ECU responds. I know that we don't have tailpipe "sniff" testing anymore for 2000+ model year cars, but they do connect the code reader to the OBDII port when a smog test is done. Does it cause an error or other "traceable" evidence when scanned?

Ok, since no takers on the GM "Hot Cam"-- any CA people running larger than stock (lift and/or duration) cams in their LS3 that passes smog OK?

So, we have emissions testing here in MD and even though I don't have cats I pass. They hook up a OBD reader and since my tune turns off the cats, it passes.

Knowing that most any mod is going to have to come off at smog time, I can’t imagine too many do. I know a guy with a Whipple and CAI. But he pulls it all every two years.

Incorrect. In enhanced areas, they still put the tail pipe sniffer in the exhaust pipe while on the rollers along with a complete visual and computer check. Well, at least they did on the last few 2000+ model year cars I have owned the last few years.

How else are they going to measure the emissions being produced without the tail pipe probe?
