I don't care for the ground effects at all if this is what it is. I probably wouldn't put light under it either. That's what I thought was the ground effects......oh well......I learned something today!!!

Don't worry...I'm sure the aftermarket is going to jump all over it and you will have so many choices for ground effects it will drive you insane!

wouldn't worry about ADI. i work as a subsidiary for another auto manufacturer and these aftermarket installations are exactly what we do. it keeps plant costs down (they only build so many models). dealers order the vehicles with other options such as security systems, running boards, remote start, spoilers, back up cams, etc. and we install them before they are shipped out. our quality standards in regards to fit, finish, scratches, dents, etc. are much higher than the actual plant standards. each of the accessories are professionally installed and usually the end buyer has no idea that their vehicle had work done on it somewhere besides inside the plant.

I wonder how the ground effects package would do in the snow...wouldnt the reduced clearance cause problems during the winter? wouldnt it be alllottttt easier to bottom out?

Funny enough, the ground effects changes ground clearance very little. Carefully study the before and after pics and you will notice that it brings many of the body lines to the lowest point of the non effects pieces. Even the front spoiler is the same hieght because it bolts to the edge of the lower chin, not below it.

Aftermarket or dealer?
Ok so the ground effects package doesnt effect clearance for driving in the snow soo now my issue is whether I should buy it seperatly and get it installed at a shop or get it all done by the dealer? I also wonder how much it would cost for just the kit and then what the average prices for installing these kits are at some shops??? im guessing it would be cheaper then getting it all off the dealer...right?
