I am not sure why this is so, it seems all features that come with this package would be compatable with what the 1SS has. So, other than for marketing reasons (thinking the 1SS would appeal to those interested solely in performance, and therefore would care little for what the connetivity package offers) I have no idea. But hey, if enough people voice their opinions in support of making this package avaliable for 1SS's, maybe GM will listen as they have many times to the polls and such on this forum!

I think you got it right....the 1SS is the base model for the V8. Its as close as you can get to a "stripper" model that so many people have asked for.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was offered for MY2011.

well its just stupid to not offer it. It's not like you have to retool a factory to add that package

With a 1SS with the C&C package you would only be missing these from being a 2SS
BA sound system ($495) and 4pack guages auto dimming rearview mirror Heated seat Leather seats with SS embroidery Universal home remote (altogether including BA system = $2340) I think it's a money thing ArcAngel Last edited by Mindz; 01-07-2009 at 11:49 PM. |

it doesnt add up Mindz the 1LT is in the same boat comparable to the 2LT only a few options difference so why shaft the 1SS. I mean for me the perfect Maro would be 1SS c&c package, BA stereo, RS and interior Kit. That still would leave the leather , ambient lighting , IO interior package that are 2SS only. So wTF lol!! PS the 1SS gets the embroidery too we have pics on this site!

ArcAngel, I'm sure all the wiring and other stuff is there. You should be able to order the parts and have them installed or install them yourself without to many problems. If they don't offer the package when I order I think I'll do that.

think 1LS = 1SS
2LT = 2SS 1LT is a little bit of options for say a highschooler buying their first car that wants power seats. Really they should just offer 1LS and 2LT as options but they added the third. That's where the confusion comes in. |
