R.I.P. Ofc. David Crawford

This has been the third LEO shot and killed in St. Pete in less than a month. Personally I don't know what has changed, but the crack heads and gangsters are getting out of control.

Right now there is a 24 square block area shut down, with no one getting in or out. All schools and business in the area are closed. Law enforcement are using Tropicana Field as their command post, and starting a door to door search for the bad guy. Sure hope they get him soon, because there is no reason for things like this happening.

It would be nice if one of the local dealerships would host a car show, like Gator Ford did for the two Tampa LEO's that were killed last year. I think the family's could use a show of support from the community ...

Agreed. Its just insane. I hope they find this douche. This makes 5 in our area in what a years time or so. Just nuts. Benefit car show id do. On a weekend say donation to enter.

I am down... Ever been to the ones at Biff Burger off of 49th street in Pinellas park? They usally have good turn-outs..just a thought if we could throw something together...

An even better place would be at Quaker Steak on 49th. They have a show every Thursday night as it is. Maybe one of the promoters may see this a put something together ... I'll see what I can do from my end, my wife knows one of the people involved in the promotions ...

I'm down for something. Just completed my engine bay and got her back from shop. Repaired the ding and chipped paint on the fender the leo put on my ride.. its all good PCS paid for it all plus my rental.

harley dealers had a few rides for the last families.

i grew up in st. pete on the beaches and the rule was not to go south of central, specially after dark.

Now that the weather is getting better, I'm thinking of going back there on Thursday nights from 6-9 ... Give it a shot some time and I'll meet ya there ...
