Anyone else order from Maryland Speed?

I ordered exhaust from them in september last yr, it was delivered 8 days ago...I won't order from them ever again. I was a first time buyer wish I would have read up on them before hand.

Wow sad and to see They were the 2nd Shop ordered from when Car was new. Flowmaster AT Catback System with Skip Shift Eliminator. Service was excellent and had it within a Week but yeah that was years ago.

All these negative responses are starting to worry me, but going to take MarylandSpeed at his word & give the benefit of doubt. Received a PM that 2 orders are supposed to ship this week & the last shorty after.....but if not, will have no choice but to contact my credit card company.

Just put in a credit card dispute myself. Almost 2 months now on rotors. Never again with them. For last 5 weeks I get "will ship next week"

I ordered direct from R1 and got my stuff within days with AWESOME customer service. They sent me drum hardware by mistake and shipped me the correct disc hardware the next day and didn’t even ask me to send back the wrong parts.

I honestly feel so bad for all our Forum friends who have spent hard earned money only to receive false promises, one after the other. In some cases their ordeals have gone on for over a year. On the flip side of the coin much of this could have been prevented if only the potential buyer had done a little research. I realize all of our Forum members have one thing in common, "we love our cars" and unfortunately we sometime make rash decisions. I learnt many years ago that there are times that it's hard to believe someone can sell something so much less than any other vendors, majority of the time that in it's self is a warning. Secondly a scammer is easily detected when ordering over the telephone and they have only one thing in mind, make the sale! When they tell you they can give you a ridiculously low price you can't refuse but you have to act NOW or if you bundle this order with another I can even reduce it more, RUN! During 2017 I was about to spend a significant amount of money with this very same company when I decided to do a "search" on this Forum, the results were a little alarming. I did find some that had actually received what they ordered, however, I found it alarming at the number of unsatisfied customers. That in return directed me to check with the BBB in MD, there is was. I wonder how many of those satisfied customers were actually asked by the company representative to "please leave me some positive feedback"? If I had a significant dollar sale pending with this company I would not hesitate to call my credit card company NOW! The longer you wait believing in his false promises the more difficult it will become to get your funds returned. CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY NOW AND ADVISE THEM OF WHAT YOU HAVE NOW LEARNT, PLEASE DON'T ACCEPT PROMISES THAT PAST HISTORY IS TELLING YOU ARE WRONG!

I didn't think that ordering from Maryland Speed would be a problem....there's always a pop up on this forum promoting a sale. Was able to find 2 of the items online comparable in price ($30 more). What upsets me most is that I could of purchased the headers anywhere since it was the manufacturer Black Friday sale price....it was that extra 10% off that hooked me. Fortunately, was able to find them for about $30 more than the original sales price. I do see that there's a disclaimer now stating about long shipping times....wish it would of been posted sooner. If my order status doesn't change by this Friday & have confirmation that it shipped, going to pull the plug & order elsewhere....didn't realize the price difference was only $60 ($120 w/10% off from Maryland Speed). Please tell me that nobody's had problems with JDP Motorsports, Phastek Performance, or CarParts.com~lol.

Ordered the JBA 1812SJT Titanium coated Cat4ward headers & advertised JBA Black Friday manufacturer's sales price was $567.10 ($510.39 with Maryland Speed 10% Black Friday discount).
