2010 2SS L99 trans cooler

Any suggestions for a trans cooler that works well on my Camaro?

Yes, the ADM cooler works very well. I have one, and my trans temp never gets above 180. You can get them at LSA Conversions website

I've got the adm one as well for almost a year now with no issues. Keeps the trans from getting above 180°.

Mine is a combo now!

My 10 SS trans runs at a constant 190. Never much above. Why a trans cooler? I don't
remember of one L99 transmission failure here on Camaro5. Like they say, if it ain't
broke don't fix it... Just sayin.

I road race mine — heat is the enemy...

Thus a trans cooler...

I have a 4K converter. Lots of slip=lots of heat

The L99 A6 comes with a trans cooler.

I have made multiple 1/4 mile passes at street night with no cool down period and the trans temp has stayed steady.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Stock, you're fine. Its only for when you are running a torque converter with higher stall speeds because they produce more heat due to slippage. Heat is one of the big enemies of transmissions. When you're cammed past a Stage 2, you generally need to run a higher stall converter. All depends on the application. I ran a stock converter on a stock engine too.

Heres a pretty decent thread for trans coolers.
