(2SS/RS IOM) "DCPTCN 1" is only a week or so away from coming home and BumbleBee (restored 1973 Beetle- orig BBee) has not been well. Battery died the other day. I think it is its way of telling me it doesn't want to go into storage. It has been sharing a lair with a sleeping but temperamental Cobra while the daily-driver cars are in the driveway. BBee is my favorite car

....enjoy driving it more than the loud, fast, get-me-in-troube-quick Cobra.

But I suspect I will be spending more seat time in the Camaro than in anything else.

Sorry dude. BumbleBee was a Yellow VW Beetle.

But I can understand if you didn't see the original Transformers on TV ages ago and your only BBee knowledge is from the recent Transformers movies where they used a Chevy Camaro. Fair enough.

Thanks! Naaahh, it is a '73 Standard Bettle...fully restored to original conditon, never modified or hacked up like you see the younger generation here in SoCal do to them these days. It is appreciating in value every single day! Slower than a freaking turle though.

I'll post more pictures when the orange car arrives. Who knows, maybe I keep them both in the garage and see if they'll fight!

They paid homage to the VW Bumblee in the first movie...thought it was cute..even my son caught it..when he was young he loved playing with Transformers and Beast War (hasbro) toys growing up.
