I have been in that trunk numerous times and never bothered to check. Thanks for all the suggestions

If you have HID Halo headlights, you are able to get the oracle lights you were talking about.

Even if you don't have an RS model, if you have the RS headlights which are HID Halos, then they will work. So long as they are not aftermarket, which look a lot different

Just an FYI, you will need to remove the front bumper to install any halos kits that are out there. JDP and NightOwl inlcuded. NightOwl is the best way to go if you ever plan to do more lighting than just halos.

Also, based on your post above, you DO have the RS package. The roof ditch molding is the easiest way to tell since no one typically paints it when adding RS parts. All the other components of the RS package are easy to add after the fact.

Thanks for all the help, after checking in all the different areas it seems I do have an Rs package

Roof molding is silver
Ss emblems are red in color
Have halo lights already, that's the most important thing
No sticker in trunk, looks like previous owner removed it

Serial number in 5th position is an S, but Good news is I can get the stuff to work. Too bad I still have to remove the bumper, thought their would an easier way, but their never is.

Will look into night owl system

Thanks again everyone

All I know is I've been in a few Camaros with RS package and they all had leather...and a few of them were V6 models. When I went to buy mine, they tried to sell me a 1LT and one of the things he mentioned was it had leather.

The bumper is actually really easy to remove. Seems daunting at first, but in reality it's a 30 minute job for a first timer.

We have a halo kit that is not as extreme as NightOwl. Note that we also sell NightOwl systems.

My 5th letter is 'K' in vin and my car is not RS, so the above post is incorrect

RS Appearance Package (available with LT and SS):
- HID headlamps with halos
- spoiler on LT model
- 20-inch 5-spoke wheel with Midnight Silver paint finish
- RS unique taillamp (darker tinted lenses)
- body-color roof ditch molding
- RS badging (front and rear)

On the SS Model the "SS" emblems (front and rear) will be red (non-RS are white).

The 1SS models come with cloth seats. The 2SS models come with leather. Leather seats aren't part of the RS package.

There should be option codes located on a stickers on the door and in the trunk that you can check to be sure which options your car came with.
Ok so I am new here and to the 5th Gen Camaro. I have a '02 Z/28 that I bought new so that I am familiar with lol. But, I just bought a 2012 Rally Yellow vert with Black Rally Stripes painted on and am finding my way around her thanks to everyone on here. I know it is a 2SS and (aside form the painted Rally Stripes) it has HID/Halos (pass side appears to be burnt out which started this whole journey of how to replace). I do not have the WRS in the RPO code in the trunk sticker and the grill has white SS and the trunk lid has NO SS badge. I have the carfax and according to that no wrecks, the paint code is GCO so I know that Rally Yellow is the original color (maybe the previous owner pulled the trunk lid SS badge??). I've searched here quite a but and my confusion comes from the Rally Stripes that are spot on perfect and do not look aftermarket and I do have the HID Headlamps with Halo's. But now I'm wondering if I do have an RS or are the stripes and HID/Halos an add on by the previous owner and maybe the lights are not wired correctly and that's why the pass side is not working? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have the HID/Halo, White not Red SS in the grill, NO SS on the trunk lid. Got the 20" 5 Spoke wheels but they are black. The taillights are dark and so is the bezel, so I'm thinking those might be aftermarket since the side markers are dark too.
