MGP Caliper Covers V6 Camaro RS Pictures Installed

These are pics of the calipers covers I ordered and installed from MGP. They are black with silver writing. The fronts were easier to install and fit a little better than the rears. On the rears the dust cover from the factory surrounding the rotors makes getting the clips on a little tough. These are so much easier that paining your calipers. Also they tend to suck heat away from your brakes as they are aluminum. They really reduce the dust as well and should hold up nicely. With the stock V6 (non-Brembo) brakes being as good as they are I just couldn't justify upgrading to the Brembo or others at this point in time. Will be replacing the rotors to slotted and cross drilled soon and adding Hawk HPS pads. Enjoy

Looks good! I think these are next on my to do list. I'm thinking color match in IBM with the silver lettering and custom engraving.

Congrats. I have them on since last summer. They hold very well, don't worry.
I like color match also.

how hard was it to install without removing the wheels? you think there is enough room to install with the wheels on with 18's, my wheels are a 5 spoke and there not very wide either.

Haha that's impressive! I was switching back to my summer tires so I figured it was the perfect time. Never intended to cut corners

They were'nt hard to install. I do have 19 " wheels ,5 spoke. You just have to take your time ,& a little trial & error. then by the time one is done the other one is easy ..LOL

Any one make caliper covers besides MGP for Camaro?

Hi All,

The MGP Camaro covers are nice accept for the FAKE and tacky looking "fake painted bolts". Does any one make these for Camaro RS non Brembo brakes that have better finished look? Or does MGP have a patent preventing others from making them?

MGP, why not use a realistic flat bold head, rather than silver paint?
