Next Chevy Camaro ZL1 Convertible spied again, with best peek yet at front styling
This is the upcoming Chevy Camaro ZL1 convertible, caught while cold weather testing in Northern Michigan.
Hot on the heels of the new Camaro itself, this ZL1 version should be able to make the most of its new, lighter and smaller platform in both coupe and convertible versions. A Camaro ZL1 is expected to be powered by the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 from the Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V, tuned to somewhere near 640 horsepower – a substantial boost over the old ZL1's 550 horses.

Awesome. Looks like they're still using the old wheels for testing. This could be an $80,000 Camaro.

The last ZL1 had an auto so I'm not sure why this one wouldn't as well.

Glad to see more pics! Yeah this convertible will be close to 70k if not over. Can't wait to see the actual specs on it.

Reminds me a little bit of a Jaguar F-Type.

We've already see the ZL1 without the camo netting.

Can anyone see what the numbers in the cutout holes on the back say?

FYI - The Gen5 ZL1's have 580 HP so while a 60 HP boost is ok.....a 100 HP boost would be substantial. |
