me too... except I'm on the other end of the spectrum. I'm just shy of 10k miles for the month of August. Changed my oil on the 30th of July... drove to the fest, then back to SC, then to NC, then back to SC, then to GA, then back to SC, then back to NC, then back to SC, another trip to the midwest and back to SC and now I'm back up in NC...
gotta change my oil again when I get home... and do something about the fuel economy in the truck...lol Quote:

So, I began the process of mounting a parachute in Brandi...
We are killing two birds with one stone in this situation... well maybe a few more than two... anyways... The big wheel well battery storage area in my car is no more... I cut it out of the car and we will plate over the big hole. Under the new plate, we will be building the framework for the parachute mount, and installing a fuel cell and fuel pump... In the pics below, the first one is looking into the trunk, at the battery hold down/wheel well area... The next pics are from underneath after the well is cut out and there is an aluminum plate I cut out that will be used in or for mocking up the new metal piece. As a few of you know, my Aeromotive gave up the ghost with less than seven hours of run time. Therefore, we have decided to go with a Weldon pump and their pulse modulated fuel pump controller... So we will re-install the Lingenfelter Dual Pump system in the tank, and it will supply a constant flow to the fuel cell, and the Weldon will draw from the cell to supply the rails.... We also made the decision to upgrade the injectors to a bigger size... Corey feels with the other changes, we will run out of injector next so we are taking care of that prior to it being an issue.... We are looking at the 2035 A or the 2345 A Weldon Fuel pump and the 14000 fuel pump controller... Even in the Mile and/or Unlimited open road races, fuel should never be a problem... with the addition of the new 127 Lb/hr injectors...
