2013 Camaro 1LE release date
Does anyone have any news on the release date for production on the 1LE package? I have an order placed and waiting patiently...

Hey everyone, this is my first post! I just ordered my 2013 1SS black 1le last week and they are telling me end of Sept. I should have my vin in a few weeks. Is it easy to watch the build progress on your car? I am so excited haha 426big ones under my ass, just cant wait. I also heard Car and Drive is going to do the review at the end of this month, the BOSS vs. 1LE... and we all know who will win!

What day did you guys order your 1LE last week? I tried to order a 2SS w/1LE last Tuesday 7/17 and it was still unavailable.

My dealer has my order (spec'd on 7/14) ready to submit upon the first available day for 1LE ordering. When that day is coming I don't know so all we can do is wait. I'm not sure what the delay is regarding the order release but it's certainly out of our control.

I have been trying to order my 1LE for months now at a dealer in Sturtevant, WI and he would never have any information on it. So I thought I would try a different dealer in Milwaukee, WI and he said I can order one today (his name was Willie at Heiser)!!! The next morning I got my wife some flowers and said "it is time!" lol. So, no problems I built my 1SS with everything you can possible add to the Camaro (MSRP was $40,171). This was 7/21/12. He said it will be between 6 to 8 weeks but more like 8 weeks. So end of Sept. I will have my pride and JOY! My advice is to keep calling around. For whatever reason some dealers must be able to order over another dealer... not sure.

If they don't hurry up, then they aren't going to sell many of them for some time. Who's going to want to buy a car with summer only tires when winter hits?
