Well, we all hope you skip the 8s and don't have another 1000' run.

Who will be tuning??
F3R is definitely capable of 6's. On a 430in small block ford running 50 pounds of boost we went 6:60's @ 209mph on gas. Then switched to alcohol with no inter cooler and ran 6:50's @ 212 mph. Pretty sure we could have got into the 40's buy funds dried up!!! LoL.

Good luck. Pulling up a chair and watching.

I've seen that gear driven blower on a car before. Looks like a nice unit. We started out with the infamous chain drive!! Sounded menacing as hell but just couldn't get that chain to live. Then switched to the big bad belt drive. Good luck. If u have any procharger questions don't hesitate to ask. Been racing with them for 10 years. Have run many prototype blowers? Which size "R" blower do you have?

That's huge!

What type of fuel do you plan on running? Also, what are you going to do about a radiator?

I'm sure I might have some questions but it's pretty straight forward racing setup. I'm running the 131. This blower makes more boost than a standard 131

I've been running nothing but race fuel all along. I will not be running a radiator.

How much boost you planning on running? Depending on impeller if you spin blower at max speed you can make anywhere from 47-55 pounds of boost. We found 55 lifted heads. 50 we could run for quite some time. And 47 we could make a motor last all season.

Ya. There's sooo many versions of the 131 floating out there it's crazy!!!! We've tested MANY impellers!!! Some crashed on the first pass. Some worked but made no steam unless overspun. Some worked great. Hopefully you get a good gear set!!! We used to keep 3 blowers with us at all times 8) lol!!! Peddling the car is hard on blowers!

Good luck brother. Nothin more menacing than the sound of a F3

Thanks. I know where and who this blower is coming from and that it puts up some big boost numbers and hp. Going to start out easy with it and see where it is as I was running the F2 at 30lbs. Going to have to figure out where this combo likes to be to keep a motor together for a season as Im not looking to max it out and only run a few times. The guy I bought it from was running a 600+" big block on alcohol and was putting out 3300hp so its capable of being stupid if I wanted to go there. Im planning on having several different gear ratios to try out and hopefully find the sweet spot for my setup. What gears did you run?

Are you still going to run an intercooler or ditch in favor of Alcohol?
How about that rear, still planning on keeping the IRS or making the switch to solid axle?

Great looking build by the way.
