Scratches on dealer stripes

Well... came out to my car today and I noticed there are some slight scratches on the trunk of my car in the stripes. If the sun is directly over them they're easy to notice... but otherwise it's hard.

Any easy solutions?

Related topic........

I had a small bubble appear in the same area. Can I take them back to the dealer? I've had the car for over a month now...

yes...they are warrantied. Mine are getting re-done because of some dirt under one of the stripes and the spoiler stripes are in the wrong spot.

If it's just a bubble, they may be able to work it out without re-installing.

The scratches on the stripes could have been from the squeegee used to do the install. If they aren't really bad, throw some wax/polish/Zaino/whatever on them when you detail the car. Unless the scratches are more than surface scratches the polish should help fill them in and make them disappear.

I have had really good luck with the Maguires NXT 2.0 wax on the vinyl stripes, and it seems like they attract LESS dust now.

Well, the NXT 2.0 Paste wax didn't really help with the scratches... :(

HOWEVER, wow. I must have not waxed a car before with a quality product.. because it looks awesome. For the first time since I've owned it, I have a mirror finish on it. I didn't even do a great job on it. I definitely learned a lot from the experience though.

I saw in one of the threads that you can't wax the flat black vinyl stripes. Anybody have any experience/issues waxing flat black?
