2015 Silver Commemorative Edition 2SS M6 Vert
Hello all - I'm late to the Gen5 game, but I wanted to make sure I got my own new one before the model changout. Some will say that's crazy, but I like what I like and I took the opportunity to order the 2SS Commemorative Edition Vert with NPP and a short throw shifter.
I also ordered the custom LED interior lighting and metal cover set - maybe a little cheesy, but hey, why not? I've followed Indydriver's thread with interest (featured COTW). He's specced his ride as what I've envisaged for mine and his thread has been tremendously helpful. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend you check it out. Planned mods: - Rx catch can - ARH long tube headers w/high flow cats - CAI - Ported trottle body - Throttle body controller - Tune I'm looking for a good installer in Houston (preferrably in the SW side if possible) - any recommendations would be appreciated! |

Car on the way (hopefully around 26-27 May)!
Ordered: - Vitesse throttle controller - CAI w/scoop and new windshield washer fluid tank - Rx Catch Can w/Clean Side Separator & black braid hoses - Windscreen (I heard this was a must for the Vert) A shout out to Victoria Robbins, General Manager of Apex Motor Sports for extremely responsive customer service! |

My face is already sunburned! I've started keeping a hat in the car.
I just wish the tonneau cover was faster on/off - I find I'm already driving with the top up more than I like because of this. |

Awesome ride man! I've never seen a commemorative edition before but I am really liking it. And you can't go wrong with the NPP exhaust.
Also one question, d you plan on wet sanding it? I ask because the closeup pf the stripes, it looks like it could use a little wet sanding, or a nice clay bar! But I am looking forward to seeing the build! |

Thanks! I can honestly say that I've never had a car that's put a grin on my face like this one.
Wet sand - hadn't even considered it. I'll look into that. |

First mod!
Will do the catch can tomorrow when the engine is cool again. Will install the scoop and washer bottle when I'm feeling adventurous enough to jack up the front wheel... |

Leave the washer bottle off weight reduction
I suggest using a dremel on the plastic Ryan

CAI makes a difference!
Went for a ride this morning that turned into a little cruise (about 50 miles). I was shocked at the noticeable difference with the CAI. I read what people have said "butt dyno" blah, blah, blah - but the feedback is legitimate. This mod is aweome and has my highest recommendation!
