01 Maro V6 EVAP canister

Ok, I know the EVAP can is behind the fuel door somewhere, but I can't see it from under the car. So how do I get to it? Anyone gotta photo-walkthru maybe?

Oh, and this has nothing to do with the EVAP system (obviously) but how do I remove the plastic piece under the wiper arms? My passenger side fluid jet is clogged and I need to remove that piece to get to the line.

The EVAP is on top of the fuel tank; You have to drop the tank to access it. Why are you asking about it? What code did you set?

The Plastic cladding under the wipers is actually 3 pieces, 2 plastic halves, and a rubber strip. It's retained by plastic expansion clips.

I can't remember exactly what the two codes were but they were both EVAP codes.

And how exactly do I take them off? I looked at it for a sec and couldn't see anyway of removing it.

EDIT: Just checked the code listing. I believe the codes were P440 and and P441. I almost positive. That reminds me, I've got a new purge valve, that I brought home, and completely forgot to put on. Should I just try that first?

It's evidentally not passing the self-test- Either drop and replace, or (my vote) delete reporting via HPT or the like.

this issue popped up on me once or twice before (once on my 94 Z28 and once on my pickup)

reset the computer and see if it comes back.

Do you know why I pulled you over?

You do know that misuse of the word "Camaro" is a felony in the state of Everywhere, don't you? Listen, just have the "Maro" changed and I'll let you off with a warning. This time
