We have a new-ish Dodge Grand Caravan. It's her work vehicle. Other than the stow-n-go seats, it has no redeeming quality. It's a giant pile of plastic crap, and things break on it constantly. Her other work vehicle is a Ford Flex, and I have to be honest, I like it a lot.

FCA makes a ton of money on the Jeep brand. Unfortunately for them, one of their competitors has finally recognized that. Ford is going to make bank with the new Raptor, the Ranger, and the Bronco.

First off, one brand making money (which still has horrific quality scores) isn't going to save the entire ship. There's a reason Sergio keeps pushing for a merger with another automaker.

And hilariously enough, why do you think Ford's suddenly all gung-ho about bringing the Ranger back when just a few years ago, they said nobody would want to buy a midsize truck when you could get a full size? I'm sure it has nothing to do with GM eating their currently non-existent lunch with Colorado/Canyon.

The Ranger is just to get a piece of the midsize pie, they will hardly make "bank" on it. The Raptor is a niche vehicle, also not going to bank it for Ford. The Bronco still isn't out for another 3 years and there are zero details about it, how do you know it's going to bank anything?

Second teaser video validates the leaked photos. Look at the wide ram air hood outline and the wheels.

Also, notice the front suspension... doesn't look like an AWD platform to me either.

Yeah, I agree as 18" wheels/tires will mean pretty puny brakes, and softer sidewalls. Not good for a 4300 pound car...

Rumor is it will only make full power on race gas, and will have a dash switch to turn on this feature.
