What mods do you have? What wheels and tires are you currently using?

Sorry forgot to mention my mods. I've got a K&N CAI, OBX LT's, and Pypes catback, trifecta tune is ordered and on the way. I'm also using the stock 1LT 18" wheels and tires and I'm and A6.

It appears to be all in the 60' time. Your top end speed is normal for those mods. Getting out of the hole is the key. if you can get that down to a 2.0X you can cut as much as 0.4 at the top end and get yourself into the 13's. Depends on the tires and grip. Some street tires like to be heated up. Others not so much. If you can get a set of drag radials on those 18's that will be a huge help.

Get some more traction and you'll hit 13s no problem. You can either go with better tires on your current LT wheels or you can get yourself a set of wheels and drag radials and do that. You also don't have full bolt-ons so you could add more and possibly hit 13s like that as well.

Thanks for the info! I really had to play with the throttle to keep it from spinning off the line, even if I heated up the tires or not and tried running different ways with the traction control options. I ended up getting that time after about my 4th straight run (there wern't many people out there) and I guess the tires finally heated up enough? I do have some plans to run a differen't wheel and tire combo in the future (probably Torq Thrust and Nitto's) but until then I'll look for some cheap wheels to put on the back and put a set of drag radials on. There are also plans to add proted TB, IM, and insulator... maybe get a local shop to do my heads to after that I think i would have just about all the bolt ons?

Don't forget high flow cats. I've got CAI, TB, and cat-back. Only bolt on left for me is HFCs (I'm a 2012 so headers, ported IM, and spacer is not really an option). I'm also un-tuned. All of that and I just recently got into the low 14.2's. Stock RS 20" wheels and P-Zero tires, dust off the tires in the box (little if any smoke), and I usually cut a 2.1s 60'. The 13's seem to be evading me.

He's using the stock 18" wheels and tires. The 18" wheels and tires sure are lighter but damn do the tires suck for traction. I would honestly love to get myself a set of the 20's with the pirellis even if just for one run to see what 60' I can pull off with them.

I do hear the pirellis like a good burnout so maybe you can try that if you don't mind wasting your tires lol

Late to the party here, but I think the track is hurting your 60' times a bit. I've been to ATCO a couple times and the problem I have with the track is that you can't avoid the water box with your front tires. People still run nice times there but it seems to be more the AWD or 12 second and faster cars that are able to get a really good burnout in and burn all water off their tires.

Still got my best 60' ever with the pirellis lol 2.0 flat in about 80 degree weather, they are under rated when used in warm temperatures.

I don't have my slip with me but I ran a 14.194 @ 97.10 MPH recently. Fastest time I've run with my current mods (Ethanol Free Premium Gas, CAI, Trifecta tune, RX Catch Can, and RX Breather) on stock RS rims and tread. I did no tire prep because it was at TnT which starts before I get off work so I hurried over there with the fiancee. I did decent burnouts before each run because it was about 50 degrees and let car cool before I made my passes that night. It was her first time being there too and she loved it. I will post up my slips from that night tomorrow. I ran 14.2 rest of the time. Hoping to have some good times at Midnight Madness tomorrow night. I race at Memphis International Raceway (MIR).

I am looking at tires/rims or exhaust right now, but not sure if I should continue or just save up for a used SS (really want to get a SS someday).

14.2 with just an intake and a tune is great for an auto...nice runs! Do you remember your 60'? More evidence those Pirellis aren't bad at all...

Guys if I miss a time that needs to be updated on the main page PLEASE PM me, in fact if you post a new top ten record please PM either way. I am very busy with work and I sometimes forget to check this section. If I get a PM I will change it ASAP though.

Yeah maybe, my best on them was 2.09 I believe and on the Nitto's I have I got a 1.8. Of course they better cut better 60' since it is wider and sticker lol.

I'm about to switch over to Pilot Super Sport 275. I'm focusing more on autocross now, but I'll see what I can do at the 1/4 too.
