Wow... I'm glad I ordered some before the ban. Don't they realize that every car listed on Ebay has a public VIN? .. Seems kind of silly to restrict parts like this.

GM Does that with all badges tho. Not the outright restriction on buying the badge, but if it is replaced under warranty, they want the other badge back. I had my RS badge replaced ~1.5 years ago, GM needed the old one back.

Yes god forbid big brother should let us modify our cars to taste with the lack of badging that makes them more retro like a good old Gen 1. I and many others apparently have used the old crossed v flags...I bought mine years ago and just dremeled off the posts and used double sided tape to install.....
 AND they sure are not $100 each and can be bought easily from any classic industries etc ......
