Wow! Really impressive HP and torque curves. Not peaky at all. Great build of power at usable RPMs. That torque curve is nice and flat. A beast!

Congrats! That’s an awesome build. You’re gonna love that torque curve!

And done just in time for summer.

Those are some really good numbers. Did they pull in 6th or 7th? If it was 6th then your reading is probably about 20 RWHP lower than it would be in 7th.

Also which port job was that? X or comparable to X? You could probably gain a bit more if not!!

Ran in 4th gear as it's an m6. Porting done by modern airflow dynamics, which from the pictures I've seen is comparable to Kong X port.

This was also the last pull i believe and was starting to get pretty warm. Better air or cooler MAT temps and it should make even more but the tuner says its running great with the log to back it up. Can't wait to go pick her up

Also to note, at e60 both low and high side held strong with no drop at all. 13.5 psi of boost I believe it was. The jms with the 38% fuel lobe are working great

Did you recently move to Houston? I like powerfab a lot just haven't used them in a while or did you just use them and drive back to CA?

Amazing numbers, just needs an aftermarket blower (the primary weak point on this motor, aside from the crappy oil pump) and it would be perfect

No I'm still in CA, but I've been working with Herold motorsports for over a year and decided to have him do this round of mods.

Zx10, I'm ok with the factory blower right now. We'll see how temps are with the cooling mods but I think it'll be ok with an occasional track day and back road driving

The bigger blower was a lot more necessary a couple of years ago. Like everything else, aftermarket technologies have evolved. With technology advances in porting and cooling systems staying with the 1.7L is a much more viable option. You can make plenty of repeatable power with it and it still hits harder than the bigger blower. Some people want that (me included).
