Happened to have the SLR packed in the trunk when we went out to Old Fort Henry in Kingston, Ontario today. It was a beautiful day out. Not hot, not cold! Perfect convertible cruising weather!

Did not have a whole lot of time, a lot of these spots were really busy or places I should not really have my car. I edited out all the NO PARKING signs! LOL ... The pictures by the water with the Wofle Island Windmills in the background the passenger seat is pushed forward .. did not notice until after I got home. Oh well other than the one seat looking slightly odd the background was perfect.

Also, I forgot to bring some lens filters with me, I left the camera bag at home, just happened to have it in the trunk today. Personally I hate the sun flares in the photos. Its really bad on one of the shots with the tanks. I had lots of shots, but they all had it and that was one with the best angle.

If it is the same place, I remember it well. Took Boy Scouts from N. Syracuse to Ft Henry for an overnight camping trip. It was a blast and beautiful.

I can't believe we used to run up and down that hill with inner tubes all day long in the winter as kids! I think I got winded watching some lady jog up the hill!

I was really really temped to drive over to the top of the hill and snap some photos but there was some parade ceremony today, thought it might be disrespectful even though the place was all but deserted.

Thanks Ruby! I was trying to find interesting backgrounds and also some interesting angles. Not just your typical "here is my car" photos.
