Race scoop in dusty areas

Living in Phoenix how much dirt will this pull in? We get dust storms and dusty days in general. I'm thinking I'll be getting a lot of dirt into my CAI.

i think your right ... put a scoop and funnel it directly into your intake (whichever one you have ) and drive thru a sandstorm let me know how that works haha not to mention sandblasting your paint

In dusty environments you will have to clean your filter more often.

It wont make that big of a difference. You will have to clean your filter more often anyway.

this... even without a scoop the dusty air will get to the filter. I would not use that as a reason to not get the scoop.
