Brake squeal on my LS after in the morning or long period parking.

Is it normal for a brake to squel when i first going forward at slow speed and hit the brake. It does it in the morning, or couple hours of parking. Went to dealer ship and he said its normal. Only have 7200 miles on it. I live in a dorm so no parking garage T_T. Live NC

Do you see rust forming on the rotors?

I noticed it when backing out of our garage & asked my husband.

After driving around awhile, it goes away.

its just moisture/water caught in them, unless somehow your pads are worn out.

But if its just water or moisture theres nothing to worry about.

Mine was doing exactly the same ,then i asked a friend and he said that the solution was to never stop driving unless to gas up or routine maintenance , problem solved !

Some vette owners spray theirs with clear coat VHT paint.

Happens alot in the higher humidity places. Dallas drivers have been talking about it for a while. Mine look horrible after sitting a couple of days - all rusty looking and junk.

Yes, mine will be noisy too after being slightly rusted. They seem to get a bit better after a driving, but still seem to squeal until I make about 2 really hard brakes and then they are quiet.
