1ss GM Remote Start no module relocate
I have seen a few install questions on the GM remote start install on non equipped cars. Well,just installed mine in my 1ss,didnt relocate just reprogramed thru GM dealer with number from gm remote start kit, and it works fine,ifigured it would be the same as the remote unlock and it did,so if anyone is still curious about installing without relocating module to windshield it will work!!

It will effect distance a bit but if it really bothers you just do it later. I'm adding remote start as part of my BCM programming for this reason.
